The internet abounds with photos of hotel rooms, both good and bad, but the game changer most definitely has been Instagram. It seems that no weekend break or holiday of a lifetime is complete without a myriad of photos of your bed, bathroom or view from the balcony – all with an excess of hashtags via Instagram – #hotellife, #roomwithaview, #luxuryhotels, #hotelliving, #myluxurylife, #hotelfun, #bed, #travelcouple, #adventurethatislife, #passthebucket!
Hotel rooms come in all shapes, sizes and standards, from budget boxes like those found in Japanese capsule hotels to lavish, ostentatious suites at leading luxury hotels. But what about the other hotel rooms out there – those that are really instagramable (if that is even a word…).
